A popular attraction for guests from near and far, Trees of Historic Bethlehem features 20-plus Christmas trees beautifully decorated by members of the local Bethlehem Garden Club and sponsored by small businesses from throughout the community.

The 2026 Trees of Historic Bethlehem will take visitors on a journey through the ages of architectural design. From the elaborate ornamentation of the Victorian Period to the geometric structures of Brutalism, this season’s trees will reflect the innovations and artistic styles known throughout architectural history. Between the three sites, visitors will see trees designed in the iconic styles of Neoclassism, Gothic, Rococo, Art Nouveau, and many more; combining rich decorative arts history and holiday cheer. Visit all three sites and vote for your favorite at the end!
Trees of Historic Bethlehem is a self-guided tour and admission includes access to the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem housed in the 1741 Gemeinhaus, the oldest building in the city; the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, one of only 15 decorative arts museums in the nation, and a putz display at the Single Sisters’ House.

All museum access with Trees of Historic Bethlehem!
With this ticket, visitors also have access to two museums, The Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts and the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem, and the Moravian putz at the Single Sisters’ House.
The Luckenbach Mill will also be open to the public as a part of the Trees of Historic Bethlehem Tours.

Tour Times
Tree Tours are self-guided. Upon arrival to the museum, visitors will receive a green wristband to identify their purchase and a pamphlet providing an overview highlighting each of the trees. The pamphlet will also provide access to an online version of the tour that guests can access from their phone. We recommend that visitors allot at least one hour to view all of the trees across the three sites.
Tour Accessibility
If you have questions about a specific building, or want help planning your visit, call the Historic Bethlehem Heritage Concierge Service at 1-800-360-TOUR (8687). We’re happy to walk through the details with you and find the right fit.
Are there stairs on the tours?
The Grist Miller’s House, 1741 Gemeinhaus, and the Single Sisters’ House are original 18th-century buildings without elevators, so there is a flight or two of steeper historic stairs. Guests on the Branching Out Tour, which includes the Gemeinhaus and the Single Sisters’ House, and the Birthplace of Industry Tour, which includes the Grist Miller’s House, are welcome to remain on the main floor. Our guides are happy to describe what is on the other floors, and Branching Out Tour attendees can watch a video at the Gemeinhaus showing what they would see on the second floor of the building.
