Local fiber artist Sandy Kuder will be on hand to demo her star applique towels — and you’re welcome to design your own, choosing from her selection of fabrics and patterns. Sandy Kuder has been sewing since childhood, learning the craft from her mother and crocheting from her grandmothers. A lifelong member of West Side Moravian Church, she’s been a part of the Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe community since the very beginning. Her signature Moravian star appliqué tea towels — designed at the shop’s request — have become one of its most beloved items.
