Musikfest 2026
Start your Musikfest experience off by grabbing the Musikfest 2026 Mug at the Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe, then exploring Bethlehem's nearly 300-year history and landmark historic properties. Discover the Colonial Industrial Quarter, the nation's first industrial center; watch the 18-foot waterwheel in motion at the 1762 Waterworks; and meet demonstrating artists at the newly opened Grist Miller's House. Plus, don't miss the Goundie House Garden Party, featuring dancing and DJs, on Friday, July 31, from 4-10 p.m.

Kick off your Musikfest experience in historic fashion with the official Musikfest 2026 Mug which you can purchase at the Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe as you start your ’festing. Each mug purchased with Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites includes access to our Heritage Trail tour.

Inspired by the original 19th-century Schropp Shoppe, you’ll find a variety of foods, gifts and handmade products created by local artists at the Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe. All purchases directly support Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites and the preservation of 20 historic sites in Bethlehem. Musikfest mugs are available to purchase at the Schropp Shoppe, and all mugs purchased through Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites include access to the Heritage Trail audio tour companion.

Goundie House Welcome Center

1750 Blacksmith Shop

What was it like to be a blacksmith or tinsmith in early Bethlehem? Find out at the 1750 Smithy by attending one of Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites’ live blacksmith or tinsmith demonstrations where professional smiths demonstrate how Moravians forged hooks, hinges and door handles. Don’t forget to ask how you can take your own blacksmith class!

Grist Miller's House
457 Old York Road, Bethlehem, PA
- Daily 12 PM (noon) – 6 PM
Listed on the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places, the Grist Miller’s House was completed in 1782 and expanded in 1834, serving as a residence from the 1830s until the 1970s. In 2023-2024, Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) embarked on a major renovation project to restore the property. Step inside to see the newly renovated site and explore exhibits, historic trade demonstrations adn an artisan shop featuring local artists.

1762 Waterworks Tours
Ohio Road, Colonial Industrial Quarter
- Saturday-Sunday, August 1-2: 1 PM – 5 PM
- Thursday-Sunday, August 6-9: 1 PM – 5 PM
The 1762 Waterworks, recognized as a National Historic Landmark, Historic Civil Engineering Landmark and an American Water Landmark, was the first pumped municipal water system in America. It’s also an integral component of Moravian Church Settlements – Bethlehem, the newest World Heritage Site in the United States. Stop in and see the 18-foot waterwheel in motion!
