The 2025 Christmas season at Historic Bethlehem has concluded with record-breaking attendance, welcoming over 50,000 visitors to experience Christmas City USA's legendary holiday traditions.
Season Highlights
From the lighting of the Great Star atop South Mountain to the final notes of the Moravian Trombone Choir on Christmas Eve, this season delivered unforgettable experiences:
- 25,000 visitors toured our candlelit historic sites
- 10,000 Moravian lovefeast candles were lit during services
- The Christmas Market welcomed 15,000 shoppers
- Over 200 Putz (nativity scene) displays attracted 8,000 viewers
Community Impact
The Christmas season generated significant economic impact for the Bethlehem community, with visitors coming from 45 states and 12 countries. Local restaurants, shops, and hotels reported their busiest season on record.
